PATCHS is the new easy way for you to contact your GP practice online

Moving from eConsult to PATCHs –  GO LIVE WITH PATCH ON 07/06/2023

PATCHS is the new easy way for you to contact your GP practice online. PATCHS has been designed by GPs to make it easier to contact your practice and save you time.

Just answer a few simple questions and PATCHS gets you the help you need quickly.

You can use PATCHS to contact your GP practice for health advice, condition monitoring, repeat prescriptions, fit notes, appointment bookings, and more…

PATCHS provides lots of benefits including being able to make requests in your own time, avoid telephone queues and waiting rooms, and getting quick responses. PATCHS also helps patients who struggle to contact their GP practice using the telephone or in-person. This includes patients who have hearing or speaking impairments, anxiety, and who speak English as a second language.

How to contact your GP using the new online submission instead of eConsults – PATCHS

  1. You need to register for the new online consultation via the Practice website. You’ll be asked to enter your email address and set a password. To do this click on this link: Teehey Lane Medical Centre PATCHs
  2. Once you have registered, you can access the system by clicking the link on our website or opening the PATCHS app on your smartphone/ Computer. Login by entering your registered email address and password.
  3. Choose the appropriate option and answer a few simple questions to help your GP understand your problem.
  4. Your answers are sent to your GP who will respond as quickly as possible. Initial responses may be via an online message or phone, with face-to-face or video consultation appointments scheduled if necessary.

The new online consultation system (PATCHS) will let you contact your GP and by answering few simple questions get you help with health advice, fit notes, medications and more.

If you have any questions or issues using PATCHs please contact the surgery.
