Welcome to Teehey Lane Medical Centre

We would like to welcome you to the Teehey Lane Medical Centre Website.  We hope you will quickly benefit from the user-friendly layout of our website and its wealth of information about healthcare services we provide.

We thank all our patients for working with the Practice whilst we are going through this period of unprecedented change.  We continue to provide care for the community in line with government national and local guidance while continuing to respond to the healthcare needs of our patients. 

To respond to the new demands and pressures because of COVID-19 we are increasing the way you can contact the practice by introducing e-Consult. Using digital platforms like e-Consult on our website we want to greatly reduce long waiting times for answers you need now. Every request to see or speak with a GP could be requested via our digital platform e-Consult. The Practice will aim to respond to your e-Consult within two working days as a maximum. Our goal is to increase efficiency convenience and continuity when interacting with our services and consultation with our GP’s. E-Consult is available during surgery opening hours 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday. 

Any patients having difficulty completing our online E-Consult please contact the surgery and the receptionist will be happy to help you.

 

New Female GP Joins Teehey Lane Medical Centre

We would to welcome Dr Fatima Rizwan to our team, a female GP who has started from 31st August 2021 and will be working on Tuesdays all day. She completed her GP training in Manchester and is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners.

 

Striving Towards Excellence

In a recent Patient Experience Survey 2018-19, 94% of all patient ratings were Good, Very good or Excellent.
